Fall Equinox: Balance and Harmony

September 10, 2026 · 3 min read

Greetings Sacred Beings!

This month we celebrate the Fall Equinox on September 22nd here in Arizona. This is the creating of a perfect symmetry between light and dark. This “equal night” is interpreted as a mirror for personal balance, urging you to assess where you are living at extremes, either too much action or too much inaction.

The equinox coincides with the Sun entering Libra, the sign of harmony, relationships, and equity. Libra’s energy encourages you to evaluate partnerships, boundaries, and fairness in your life. It’s a time to seek mutual benefit in relationships and to calibrate your inner scale so that giving and receiving are in balance.

The September 2026 equinox is not just a seasonal shift, it’s a cosmic invitation to recalibrate. It’s a reminder that lasting harmony comes from creating space for what truly matters, releasing what has run its course, and stepping into a new chapter with balance and intention. Align with the natural cycles of growth, release, and renewal with these rituals:

Gratitude Ceremony

Write down everything you are grateful for.

Light and Shadow Ritual

Place one white candle and one black candle side by side on your altar or workspace to represent the energies of light and dark. Light both. As the flames burn, spend a few quiet minutes reflecting. What habits, fears, or thought patterns are you ready to release as the days grow shorter? What strengths, values, or goals do you want to carry with you through the darker months? Write your answers down, or speak them aloud as a form of release.

Go on a Nature Walk

Taking a quiet walk in nature during this time of the year is a great way to connect with the shifting energies of the season and reflect on the balance between light and dark.

Full Moon Youthing Ceremony and Potluck

Our Full Moon Ceremony and potluck is Saturday, September 26th at 6pm.

There is one single night of the year that the energies of the moon meet with the energies of the earth in such a way that energetic and physical youthing can occur. This is the night of the Harvest Moon.

From the heart of Africa, the ancient and sacred ritual of being with the energies of the moon and earth has been passed on. Now is the time for these ancient mysteries of youthing to be revealed once again.

Join in this sacred ceremony for turning back the clock of aging. Allow the powers of youthing to welcome you once again as it was passed on from Master Teacher to student.

We will be re-creating an Ancient African ritual from Shamans, Curanderos and Medicine People that is intended to reverse the effects of the passage of time on the physical body. This is conducted ONE NIGHT ONLY on the night of the Full Harvest Moon. This night is when the Moon and Earth Energies meet in a way that Physical Youthing can occur. This ceremony turns the aging clock backwards, literally “youthing” your system. This works not only on physical appearance, but also on vitality at a cellular level. It is truly a wonderful and rare gift.

Investment: $33.
